Slate Web Capture™

With Slate Web Capture, any Web Page can be "ink-enabled" or captured and brought in to the Slate Writer for annotation or markup. In addition, content that was intended to be printed out and used with a pencil or pen can be captured and brought into the Slate for the same purpose. All of this can be done in advance or on demand, based on the workflow of the application. Slate Capture makes the following activities possible and seamless within the scope of a Web application:

  • News articles on the Web: Capture them, mark them up, then save or email them for later use.

  • Worksheets on the Web: While originally intended for printout and traditional use, Slate Capture instantly converts them into online content where these web pages can then be completed on the Web using Slate Writer or Slate Center.

  • Photos and Images on the Web: Any image accessible through the Web can be pulled in to a Slate component through Slate Capture.

  • Transform and repurpose "flat" content into highly interactive Web experiences by capturing it and then serving it through a Slate component.
