Slate Technology provides
scalable, digital ink technology allowing developers to easily include handwriting, sketching, markup, annotation, and signature capture into any Web-based application. Our
mission is to bring digital ink and pen technology
to Web-based application developers and users without sacrificing
interactive desktop functionality. Slate's digital
ink solutions scale to provide users with simply
signature capture to full document annotation and
collaboration. Furthermore, our Web-based digital
ink provides enabling technology to digital pen and
tablet manufacturers, pushing faster acceptance, broader use,
and lower prices.
Timothy
J. Smith - Founder
Tim directs the overall vision and technology
delivery for Slate Technology. Tim spent the first
15 years of his career directly involved in managing
enterprise data, first as an IBM mainframe systems
programmer and then as a developer and vendor of
database management software and services. He led
development teams in innovative use of Web
technology to extend and enhance legacy applications
and databases for companies including Sterling
Software and Ford Motor Company. Most recently Tim
served as Vice President of Technology for ExactOne.
He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics
from

Garth Knudson - Founder
Garth directs marketing and business development
for the company. Before joining Slate Technology,
Garth held product marketing and business
development positions at ExactOne and CareerBuilder.
He holds MBA degrees from

International Relations from
Brigham

Jim
Myers has 23 years experience in general management,
early-stage ventures, mergers and acquisitions and
business development. Previously, Jim was Chief
Operating Officer of Infodata Systems and performed
other executive roles with DynSolutions and
GTE/Contel Federal Systems.

John Myrna launched Myrna Associates to
provide Total Quality Planning to America’s small businesses.
His expertise comes from 20 years as a general manager,
turn-around artist, and software pioneer with STSC and VM
Systems
Group.
Rob Spicer
Rob Spicer, Founder of TriSept International and Space Access Technology, brings with him more than 20 years of experience in the Federal and Defense sectors.
Bernard Ferret
Bernard Ferret, Founder and CEO of InterQuery, Inc., has over two decades of experience in the development and marketing of major software and data communications products. Prior to founding InterQuery in 1998, he was director of marketing at Datametrics Systems Corporation, a $20M performance-management software company.
